Innovation Challenge 2010
About the Competition

2009 Competition Finalists in Waterloo

This October, university and college students across Ontario will compete in the third annual AGFA HealthCare Innovation Challenge. In its first year, the competition was only open to University of Waterloo and Conestoga College students. More recently, however, the challenge has become available to post-secondary students anywhere in Ontario.

The spirit behind AGFA has always been innovation and excellence. Now is your chance to present an insightful response to a pressing question in healthcare technology today. Working in teams of up to three members, students will have one month to produce a report of up to four pages and four appendices in response to a healthcare technology question.

Not sure who your team members will be?

This year, a new "free agent" feature will make the competition more accessible to students who aren’t sure who their team members will be. Competitors will be given the option of registering as a free agent to be invited by other students who are seeking additional team members.

You are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible especially if you don’t have other team members yet.
